The Opportunity

The successful candidate will assist in developing and executing automated test scripts for web-based applications, helping ensure product quality and reliability while gaining valuable industry experience.

This internship offers hands-on experience in software quality assurance and test automation, providing an opportunity to work with modern automation tools and technologies in a collaborative environment.

What you'll do

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts based on functional test cases for web-based applications.
  • Execute automation scripts in a local test environment.
  • Identify, document, and report defects discovered during test execution.
  • Analyze test results and provide clear feedback to the development and QA teams.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve test coverage and automation processes.
  • Learn and apply best practices in software testing and test automation.
  • Utilize AI-powered development tools to improve efficiency and productivity where applicable.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Ability to commit to a full 3-month internship/immersion program.
  • Has experience with Python Scripting
  • Strong willingness to learn new technologies and concepts quickly.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Preferred Technical Skills (nice-to-have)

  • Experience creating web automation scripts using Python and Selenium.
  • Familiarity with software testing principles and test case execution.
  • Exposure to AI-assisted development tools, preferably:
    • GitHub Copilot
    • Cursor
  • Basic understanding of web applications and browser-based testing.

  • Shift: Mid Shift (3:00 PM - 12:00 AM)
  • Duration: 3-Month Internship Program
